Burro Alley



Santa Fe gets about 32 inches a snow a year, and its winters are cold. So how did they get firewood in this old adobe town?

Burros carried in wood from lands far away and when they arrived in Santa Fe, they stopped here in Burrow alley to sell it. Hence the name Burro alley.
